Recruiting for our Para Taekwondo Committee

British Taekwondo is going through a significant and exciting process of change and development that offers our members a chance to play a key role in shaping the future of the martial art and sport.
Following changes made last year the members ‘council’ was disbanded and it was agreed that a number of Committees would be set up to help advise and work with the British Taekwondo Board.
Joining a Committee represents the opportunity to have a voice, offer your expertise and be involved in the ongoing strategic development and decision making that will be crucial for the future growth and direction of both British Taekwondo as an organisation and the martial art and sport of Taekwondo.
We are now recruiting for a Chair Person and Members of our Para Taekwondo Committee
We expect that Committees will meet approximately three times per year – The Chair of a Committee will be a remunerated post and expenses will be paid to Committee members as per the British Taekwondo financial policies.
If interested, you can apply through to
We ask that you send a CV and a covering letter that outlines what you feel you can specifically contribute given your experience. Please also highlight whether you are applying to be the Committee Chair or a Member.
Terms of Reference for the Para Taekwondo Committee and the general Terms of Reference for the British Taekwondo Committee Structure are attached.
Final closing date for applications will be Friday 2nd December 2016.
