EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS 18-21, 9TH TO 12TH SEPTEMBER, KHARKOV, UKRAINE, OPEN TO REGISTRATION OF INTEREST

The ETU have recently announced the 2nd European Championships 18 - 21 which is scheduled: 9 to 12 September 2010 in Kharkov, Ukraine.

Whilst we await full information, the weight divisions are: WTF senior weight divisions and the ages are: Born in 1989-1990-1991-1992. 

Any athlete wishing to be considered to represent Great Britain at this event should send a CV of their proven competition results during the last 12 months and outline why they feel they should be selected. To be considered for eligibility athletes should have/be: 

· A British citizen holding a valid British passport (with at least six months validity at time of return date of travel).

· A current and valid BTCB licence.

· Minimum of a 1st Dan Kukkiwon certificate.

· Born in 1989-1990-1991-1992.

 Deadline for receipt of expressions of interest: Friday 16 July 2010.

Announcement of selections or otherwise: Friday 23 July 2010. 

Subject to sufficient interest to select a competitive team, it is anticipated the team will depart on 5 September and return on 13 September 2010. 

Important: Attendance to this Championships will need be self funded. Travel costs are given as a guide only until further information is received, however, it is anticipated will be in the range of £800 to £1200, to include flight, full board accommodation, team kit, travel insurance and ground transfers. Further information will be publicised as soon as it becomes available.
