ETU President runs for WTF Presidency

ETU President Athanasios Pragalos has offciially announced his candidature for WTF presidency at the upcoming elections at the WTF General Assembly. The elections will take place in October 2009 during the World Taekwondo Championships in Copenhagen.

ETU President Pragalos has informed the current WTF President Dr. Chungwon Choue about his intentions to run for presidency. He is supported by many National Federations and the fact that ETU as the European Taekwondo federation is now the largest continental federation in the WTF will have a great effect on the outcome of the elections if the European countries will preserve their unity.

The decision at the General Assembly of WTF in Copenhagen will be very important regarding the future way of Taekwondo, therefore it will be one of the most important decisions in the history of Taekwondo.
