Safeguarding Team at the 2018 National Championships

Would you like to play an important role at the Nationals?

We are looking for a small group of people to volunteer to be part of our Safeguarding Team at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield  on the weekend of 27th and 28th October 2018.

In return we can offer:

  • T-shirts so that we are easily identifiable
  • Lunch
  • A contribution to travel expenses
  • Wonderful company – a chance to feel part of the bigger team
  • Exciting experience
  • An opportunity to volunteer at one of our most prestigious UK events
  • A chance to watch the competitions when you’re not dealing with matters

You should have experience in safeguarding, perhaps you are a social worker, youth worker teacher, or are an experienced Welfare Officer at club level.  You should also have a current criminal record check (DBS, PVG or Access NI) and must be over 18 years of age.

If you fit the bill and are available on both days then please contact Liz Behnke, National Lead Safeguarding Officer by email safeguarding@britishtaekwondo.org with details of your experience and why you would like to be part of the team by close of play on Monday 24th September.
