British Taekwondo were honoured to host President Choue at their most recent Board meeting whilst on a visit to London. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the Board’s ongoing development plans for British Taekwondo and how our organisation can contribute to the ambitions of World Taekwondo that have emerged out of the recent 2017 General Assembly in Muju. There was also an opportunity to visit the University of East London, where British Taekwondo are investigating opening a hub for our members in London and the South East, and discuss the possibility of starting an international educational course in Taekwondo based on the many that exist across the Korean educational system.
Jon Smith, Chair of British Taekwondo added ‘we are extremely pleased that President Choue could find space in his very busy schedule to spend time with us in London. It was an honour to host The President, present some of the strategic plans that we are focussing on within British Taekwondo and discuss how we, as a Member National Association, can contribute more to the future of World Taekwondo’.
